Zambezi Sun
This unpretentious 3-star family hotel is located in a spectacular position on the edge of the Eastern Cataract of the Victoria Falls. The hotel has the feel of an old walled city with open, organic buildings in earthy colours and clusters of rooms.

Simple finishes highlight bright mosaics with ethnic wall stencils, timber and plaster ceilings, Zambian artworks and accessories. In the early evening the dark outline of the hotel is set against iridescent curls of smoky vapour that dance above its roofline.

The 212 guest rooms acknowledge their African roots in the deep rich red earth colour of the rounded planes of their walls. Each standard room has two double beds, separate shower and bath and a private balcony. All are air-conditioned, with satellite TV, a mini safe and telephone. Rooms either face outwards into the African bush or inwards onto the landscaped swimming pool, which is a cool oasis in the summer sun.

The Zambezi Sun's central reception area houses a family-friendly buffet restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner. You can enjoy poolside lunches at the alfresco grill in the entertainment area.

This is a place where you can unwind, relax and enjoy Africa's greatest natural wonder in true Zambian style, or where you can test your courage by experiencing a number of thrilling, heart-stopping adventure challenges.
