Tongabezi Lodge
Tongabezi Lodge is an exclusive and luxurious lodge situated on a sweeping bend of the Zambezi River, just 20 minutes upstream from Victoria Falls.
Four unique and individual houses and six luxury cottages are set in a tranquil grove of ebony trees with stunning views across the river. The cottages and houses are carefully secluded from their neighbours and each has the services of a private valet.
Five beautiful River Cottages are situated along the river bank. Each has a king-size bed or two singles, mosquito net, large en-suite bath and shower, and both indoor and outdoor areas for relaxing, dining and enjoying the expansive river views. The Garden Cottage is set back from the river and is the perfect family room with an adjoining twin room, private living area and garden.
River Cottage
Even more exclusive and spacious are the four houses, the Bird House, the Tree House, the Dog House and the Honeymoon House. Each is unique and designed with romance and indulgence in mind. Dominating each house is the huge king-size bed, complete with luxurious down pillows and duvet, and a magnificent airy mosquito net. Sweeping views over the Zambezi River are a feature of every house. Great attention has been paid to the bathroom areas and a special feature is the huge open-air sunken bath in every room, where you can unwind to the serenades of an African evening.
Tree House
There are plenty of activities included during your stay at the lodge, such as sunrise and sunset boat trips on the Zambezi, guided canoe excursions, fishing, lunch on Chundu Island and a visit to the Falls. Also included are guided tours to a local village and market plus the opportunity to spend time with the children of the Tongabezi Trust School, Tujatane, a short walk from the Lodge. Tongabezi can also arrange other activities such as flights over the Falls, elephant back safaris, visits to Livingstone Island, white water rafting and bungi jumping.
