Lunga River Lodge is situated on the west bank of the magnificent Lunga River in the north-eastern region of the Kafue National Park. Surrounded by Africas wildlife in an extremely beautiful and tranquil setting of thick riverine forest and striking miombo woodland this Lodge has all the comforts of home in a very remote location.

The lodge accommodates a maximum of 12 guests in six spacious thatched rooms. Each has en suite facilities plus a private deck overlooking the river, ensuring breathtaking views.

At the centre of the lodge is a bar with sundeck suspended over the river, along with an elevated thatched semi-open dining room. For relaxation there is a reading room and plunge pool.

Activities include game drives, walking safaris and boating trips as well as fishing. Night drives provide the added excitement of the nocturnal wonders of the area. For those interested in birding, Kafue National Park boasts 491 species of birds, including endemics such as Chaplin's barbet.
