Kapamba Bush Camp
Kapamba is situated in a prime location on the picturesque Kapamba River, offering guests the chance to enjoy this untouched corner of South Luangwa National Park.
Each of the camp’s four chalets is individually designed to offer stunning views of the river. The open-fronted style ensures that you can enjoy uninterrupted game viewing from the privacy of your own room.

The en-suite bathrooms each have a double-sized sunken stone bath and spacious shower and are open-fronted, so why not unwind in a hot tub while watching the hippos in the river below.

Paraffin lanterns and hot and cold running water ensure you won’t have to forgo any level of comfort despite being in a remote and unspoilt location.
The well-positioned deck is the focal point of the camp and serves as both the dining and bar area. Overlooking the Kapamba River, it offers an ideal viewing point for the abundant wildlife that comes to drink at the river.

The camp is ideal for small groups seeking a personalized, remote bush experience, great hospitality and spectacular opportunities to explore this magnificent wildlife sanctuary on foot. Activities are tailored to individual tastes and include day and night game drives.

Kapamba is one of six intimate bushcamps operated by the Bushcamp Company in South Luangwa, each with its own unique style. The other bushcamps are Bilimungwe, Chamilandu, Chindeni, Kuyenda and Zungulila. All of the camps are within walking distance of each other, so it is possible to walk through the park by day and camp at a new location at night.
