Chikoko Tree Camp
Chikoko Trails
Chikoko Trails consists of two simple walking camps, Chikoko Tree and Crocodile, based slightly upstream from their parent camp, Tafika, on the opposite bank of the Luangwa River.
Crocodile Camp
The camps are constructed from thatch and pole, blending in with the surrounding bush. Overlooking plains filled with game, there is always something to watch as you rest in camp during the midday heat.
Chikoko Tree
Each camp has only 3 double chalets with en-suite facilities. Chikoko’s rooms are 3 metres above the ground.
There are no roads, with luggage being portaged into camps. All game activities are on foot, accompanied by an experienced walking guide and an armed escort scout.
