Each individual travelling to Africa has unique requirements, wishes and dreams. For many it is a journey of a lifetime, others might be searching for a glimpse of a rare endemic bird. We take great care in discovering what you want from your safari before making our recommendations.
Hence, the sample itineraries we feature on our website are purely an illustration of the range of possibilities we offer, highlighting the prime wilderness areas and a few of the particularly special camps and lodges we offer our guests.
We specialise in wildlife safaris in Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe. These are destinations we know intimately and with a base in Victoria Falls we have our finger on the pulse of these countries. Over time we have been asked to arrange itineraries elsewhere in Africa and we now also offer some superb fly-in safari experiences in Namibia. We intend to add Kenya in early 2011.
Many of our guests also choose to extend their holiday by combining their safari with a few days in South Africa, particularly the Cape Province.
Others prefer to relax on the beach after their safari adventure and we offer a fabulous selection of romantic beach extensions in Mozambique.
We cater for independent travellers and privately guided trips. A private guide becomes more cost-effective as the group size increases, as the additional cost is shared amongst more guests. We find the optimum group size is between 4 and 6 guests, although it is not uncommon for couples to book a private guide. Most of our private safaris are led by the co-owner of Ngoko Safaris, Benson Siyawareva, one of Africa’s top professional guides.
